Season Info

  • Co-ed T-ball Kindergarten-2nd Grade

    • (no practices)

  • Boys Baseball 3rd-8th Grade

    • Practice Tuesdays @ 6pm Beginning April 8th

  • Girls Softball 3rd-8th Grade

    • Practice Tuesdays @ 5pm Beginning April 8th

  • Games: Friday, April 11th- Friday, May 30th Riverside High School (BYE on May 23rd)

  • Before each game there will be a "chalk talk" (Bible devotional)

  • Equipment Needed:

    • Jersey (Sold by Hometown Sports - More info coming soon)

    • Baseball hat (Sold by Hometown Sports - More info coming soon)

    • Baseball cleats

    • Grey baseball pants (3rd grade and up)

    • Baseball/softball mitt

    • Baseball/softball bat (optional/will share if player doesn’t have one)

    • Batting helmet (optional/will share if player doesn’t have one)

  • Volunteers NEEDED (coaches, umpires, team parents)

  • Non-Volunteer Fee $15 per family

Kindergarten Co-ed

At this level, we intend to introduce the basic concepts of hitting, fielding, and base running.

End-of-Season Goals

  • How to stand and swing a bat

  • How to throw the ball accurately to teammates

  • Begin to understand the idea of hitting the ball and running to a base

Beaver Tee Ball

1st-2nd Grade Co-ed

At this level, we intend to enforce the basic concepts of hitting, fielding, and base running. Additionally, we want to coach and play so that the kids have fun and are relaxed around a baseball coming towards them.

End-of-Season Goals

  • How to stand and swing a bat

  • How to throw the ball accurately to teammates

  • Begin to understand the idea of hitting the ball and running to a base

Badger Dad-Pitch

3rd-4th Grade Boys

At this level, the intention is for the kids to be able to see the ball hit the ball, begin fielding instincts, and continue base running. The goal is for kids to begin to feel comfortable hitting the ball and running to bases. Additionally, we want to coach and play in such a way that the kids have fun and are relaxed around a slightly harder baseball.

End-of-Season Goals

  • Hit the ball off a pitch

  • Throw between the bases

  • Know when to run the bases

5th-8th Grade Girls

Slow Pitch Softball

We want to see kids hit the ball, develop fielding instincts, and understand base running. The goal is for kids to begin to feel comfortable hitting a larger ball and running to bases.

End-of-Season Goals

  • Hit the ball off a pitch

  • Throw between the bases

  • Be able to throw an underhand pitch

  • Know when to run the bases

5th-8th Grade Boys

Baseball

At this level, the intentions are to see the kids grow in hitting the ball, fielding instincts, and self-guided base running. The goal is for kids to begin to feel comfortable hitting the ball and running to bases.
